Descripción

There was no adult supervision in the making or releasing of this episode. And because this podcast exists primarily for our own amusement, the bullshit has been left in. Enjoy the nonsense! I swear, the longer we pod, the worse we get. Another episode to be recorded THIS WEEK! So, while we may be rough to listen to, we never give up. Bahaha! And THAT my friends, is what keeps us awkward.

Awkward Encounters with Ben, Fen, Bin, Bem, and Dave

Where do we even begin with this chaos? In this episode of Awkward Encounters, Blonde Meghan returns as our “esteemed” guest with an unexpected cameo from Red Megan; because apparently one Meg(h)an simply isn’t enough. Meanwhile, Laura bravely tackles the true struggle of our time: names. Specifically, why every man she’s ever met is somehow named Ben…or Fen…or Bin…or Bem…or Dave (??). Are these real people or just variations of the same guy? The mystery deepens. From there, we spiral into a laundry list of past stories. Make sure to send us your awkward encounters with names at awkwardencounterspod@gmail.com and follow us @awkwardencounterspod. And if you want to be our next special guest, WE WANT YOU!

Awkward Encounters with the Clocks, Carcasses, and Catasrophic Phone Etiquette

This week on Awkward Encounters, we prove once again that social grace is… optional. First up, we spiral over something that should be simple: telling time. If you’ve ever confidently said the wrong time out loud and had to just stand in it- welcome. Then, things take a dark turn on an otherwise peaceful walking trail. Carrie encounters not one, but multiple dead animals and somehow manages to make it awkward for every innocent stranger within a 50-foot radius. Is it a crime scene? A spiritual omen? Why is she narrating it to people who did not ask? And finally, a salon moment that will live in infamy. Carrie misreads a caller ID, answers the phone with full confidence, and proceeds to absolutely embarrass herself in front of a captive audience. Here's another week of secondhand embarrassment you’ll be grateful didn’t happen to you. As always, like us on facebook and instagram. And send us your stories! @awkwardencounterspod awkwardencounterspod@gmail.com
