Kurt Carley started his professional career in the hit Off-Broadway show Little Shop of Horrors in NYC where he played the man-eating plant Audrey II. Soon, he was performing as Audrey II in theaters across the country. Meanwhile, he also performed large, over-sized characters and puppets for shows, shopping centers and private parties. Kurt was the first American to play the classic movie character Godzilla for a feature film in 1998. That created opportunities for work in other films, like: Lethal Weapon 4 (he helped puppeteer a shark!), the first three Underworld movies as Werewolves with Kate Beckinsale, the Predator in the acclaimed fan film Batman: Dead End, Sleestak and movement coach for the Will Ferrell movie Land of the Lost, M. Night Shyamalan’s Lady in the Water, and many more creatures and monsters made of foam latex! As an actor, Kurt’s been seen in commercials for Docker’s pants, Fox Sports One, and in the movie A Haunted House 2, and the television show The West Wing.
