Trying to overcome trauma and abuse

I have some similarities to Paris Hilton WHAT?!? Paris was placed in a boarding school where they beat, raped, and abused her, both verbally and emotionally. I have been through the same, not in a boarding school, but by people I thought I loved and was going to share happy moments with. It's hard for me to overcome my trauma as I still have to live with it day by day. I cannot escape as Paris has been able to do, slowly. Watching This is Paris (https://youtu.be/wOg0TY1jG3w) really opened my eyes to both abuse inflicted on me and also parenting a defiant child, not knowing what to do and making a rash decision for the stress to end.
