No matter what you are experiencing, there is support for getting your life back on track. · Whenever anyone acts or verbalizes as though he or she will harm himself or herself, please, this person should be taken seriously. · Determine if he or she has a plan to carry out they will harm themself, · Don’t leave the person alone. · Call a local crisis center or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-(8255). You can also text a crisis counselor by messaging the Crisis Text Line at 741741. · For emergency, please contact 911 for help or take the person to the nearest emergency room. · One thing you must understand is that it can be challenging to try and help the suicidal person by yourself. You cannot do this alone; you can Contact or get the person to a qualified mental health professional as soon as possible.
