Tonight we explore what it means to be a firstborn. There seem to be two distinct definitions at play in the Bible. In the First Testament we see God calling those not born first firstborns. So what is going on with that? We will explore that. We will explore some curious things about the naming of Esav (Esau) and Yacob (Jacob) and look at the possibility that God may have marked Esav before Esav sold his birthright. We will look at the 15 children of Yacob. YES! Fifteen! And we will even delve into the 13 tribes of Israel. Tonight will be a Shallow End episode, but it will go through things essential to understanding many critical things in the First Testament.

Sorcerers and Sorceresses part 2 SE

Tonight we finish up with the magic users of the Bible. We start with the most evil of all, Jezebel, and then look at King Manashe and then look at the Second Testament magic users, Simon Magus, Elymus and the Slave Girl of Philippi. Then we look at how some of the movements today carry the same rebellious spirit of control as Jezebel and the sorcerers.

On tonight's shallow end episode we are dealing with the sorcerers and sorceresses of the Bible. This will be a two part episode. Tonight we will focus on Yannes and Yambres and the Necromancer of Endor and tell their stories and what the scriptures and legends tell about them. The next episode will deal with Jezebel, Manashe, Simon Magus, Elymus and the slave girl with the pythonic spirit. So sit back and listen as we delve into the world of the necromancers, magicians and sorcerers.

Podcast Update

The podcast is not dead. We've been dealing with difficulties, and I explain some of the issues we have been going through and what God has let me know through them. Once I get a new place to record, I will be doing episodes again.

The 4th Day of Creation, DE.

In tonight's DE episode, I step well out of my comfort zone and talk about the 4th day of creation when God created the stars, planets, sun and moon and states that they are for signs and appointed times. We deal with the possibilities of what that means. Was there a divine astrology that was placed in the skies as a message of the gospel in the stars? We will look at that tonight.
