Bitches That Brunch
We're back at the table for another BTB episode. Kicking off EOTW with Denise fresh off a trip to Hawaii where she waited two hours for a JoJa Hawai’i smash burger at the Waikiki street pop-up -- and it was worth every second of that line. Terina hits up Dae Gee Korean BBQ on Broadway for a fun date night with all the soju and none of the weird sides. And Sarah takes us to the Brown Palace for Mother's Day brunch, where three people paid $435, plus tip for a buffet with no bottomless, no sausage, no bread, no Diet Coke refills, and an entire table of cold seafood that nobody asked for. Then we shake it up and pull this week's topic: favorite bagels. Call Your Mother gets a glowing endorsement, Rosenberg's comes up, Einstein's jalapeño asiago makes a strong case, and everyone agrees that once you've had a real New York bagel, nothing else compares. For Cherry on Top, Denise scored Nike Jordans at a thrift store for $20, Sarah went to Sneaker Con at the Convention Center, and Terina watched the Michael Jackson biopic and couldn’t get enough of it. Like, subscribe, review, and drop us a topic for the shaker, we want to hear from you. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, brunch is served.
