Who knew I'd become a hairdresser? Let's just say, everyone!  From a young age, I was cutting hair. I cut my brothers' hair and even some adults.  When they were complimented...my confidence grew and I knew my calling was to do hair! I was french braiding my friend's hair and I really liked it, especially because my hair wasn't that great.  I know the struggle of thin hair.  I know what it's like to work at your hair for an hour with 7 different products only to have the end product just subpar!  A frustration and a passion started to grow.  I was seeking solutions for other thin-haired angels like myself.  I wanted to help others with thin hair so I went to beauty school.  My instructor knew then and there that I would have my own salon and others would be seeking me out for great hair.  Nothing makes me feel better than a  more confident person leaving my chair because I used all the insider secrets to give them a great head of hair.   Let's Connect on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/bondhairbar] or Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/bondhairbar/] Ask Emily! Ep. 4 Confidence Has No Competition

I have such a passion for you my clients and my fellow hairdressers. Get loaded up with confidence in the hair extension world with this episode.  I recently got to present my passions and my strategies to the JD beauty school. I shared about hair extensions and my doll head.  What you don't have a doll head? Oh, you gotta get one, it could help you make way more money!   Clients love to know you know what you are talking about! When you know what you are talking about it shows confidence and clients want someone confident to provide the solution to their thin-haired situation.  Confidence has no competition - you will book the client when you know what you are talking about and how to talk about it.  I explained all about how to get a doll head in this episode.  Plus, products to help with keeping your hair extensions looking and feeling natural and the envy of all your friends who think all that hair is real. There is a lot to consider when it comes to the appropriate solution for each client. I offer consultations for clients as well as fellow hairdressers who want to have satisfied return clients.  I am your hair loss expert here to help, I hope this episode gives you insight on the right hair extensions for you and the education a stylist should have to turn you into a thick-haired Babe! episode Ep. 3 My Global Mission: Help Thin-Haired Angels And The Stylists That Make It Happen artwork

Ep. 3 My Global Mission: Help Thin-Haired Angels And The Stylists That Make It Happen

My passion has grown into a global mission.  I want everyone to have the stress of thin hair evaporate!  That starts with educating the stylists, in my field, that will be offering solutions to their client's hair dilemmas.  I found most of my hair extension clients were coming to me out of need not to enhance their beauty. This was a stress they faced every day and it wears on a person and can affect their self-esteem and productivity.  I want everyone to feel confident and ready to hit the jackpot every day.  I wrote a book about changing your life and how I did it.  I shared my story so others can see the light at the end of the tunnel and that change is possible.  I want all hairdressers to be confident in their skills, "show up" daily, and be proud to help dissipate thin hair stress for their clients. I'm hoping this is the little piece of sunshine you've all been missing! Ep. 2 How My Clients Grew My Passion Of Being a Hairdresser

At one point in my business, I went "all in" on extensions.  I did this strategically for two reasons. I was really good at extensions and they were a higher ticket item.  People would come to me for the hair cut but what was special about me and my services?  What I realized as I improved my skills and marketed them was, my clients weren't coming to me because they wanted extensions...they needed them.  Women and men alike were coming to me with medical hair loss.  I was able to offer them topical solutions, extensions, or even hair replacement systems.  It looked natural, they were impressed with how easy it was to maintain, and they were getting their mojo back. I was actually changing lives.  Knowing the impact I was having on my clients made my work that much more rewarding!  Let's Connect on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/bondhairbar] or Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/bondhairbar/] Ask Emily!
