Susan McLean - Cyber safety cop

Trigger warning for this ep. Susan is Australia’s foremost expert in the area of cyber safety and was a member of Victoria Police for 27 years. Widely known as the ‘cyber cop’ she was the first Victoria Police Officer appointed to a position involving cyber safety and young people. As we are well and truly into the holiday period and our kids are probably having some extended screen time. We chat about safety tips for parents with kids on screens. Signs to look out for if they’ve witnessed things they aren’t ready to see yet and much much more. I learnt a heap from this chat. It’s pretty confronting at times but we need to hear this stuff as parents to keep our kids safe online.   Cyber Safety Solutions [https://www.cybersafetysolutions.com.au/]
