Descripción

In Ephesians 4:28, Paul shows that Christian transformation is more than simply stopping bad behavior. In Christ, the thief becomes a worker, and the worker becomes a giver—because the gospel does not merely close our hands from taking, but opens them to bless others. Scripture: Ephesians 4.28 (Additional Reading: Exodus 22; Romans 13.7; Leviticus 19.13; Malachi 3.8-11) Warm-Up: What is one need you noticed recently that you had the ability to help meet? “Ownership is not possessing things to use for our own purposes, but receiving things to be used for God’s glory….it’s not just about stealing; it’s about stewardship.” - Philip Ryken -

How the Church Wins

In Ephesians 4:1–16, Paul turns from the cosmic truths of the gospel to the ordinary life of the church, showing that Christ’s victory becomes visible through a unified and maturing body. The church does not win by worldly power, talent, or impressiveness, but by walking worthy of the gospel: guarding unity, using Christ’s gifts, speaking the truth in love, and growing together into Him. Scripture: Ephesians 4.1-16 (Additional Reading: John 17.20-26; Romans 12.1-3; Psalm 68.15-18; Matthew 16.18-20) Warm-Up: What’s one thing that makes it hard for Christians to stay unified, even when they believe the same gospel? “The man who loves his dream of community will destroy community, but the man who loves those around him will create community.” - Dietrich Bonhoeffer -
