Turns out, Sam and Dean need a break from each other.  Sam starts hitch hiking toward California, with a sexy young woman, in his quest to find John Winchester.  Dean follows dad’s orders and heads to Burkittsville, Indiana where the townsfolk seem to be thriving even though numerous couples all seem to go missing around the local apple orchard.  Dean has no plan, no research, and…yep…there’s that fugly scarecrow! 3-2-1…Andrew and Mike stumble through recording this week’s episode like two amateur ghost hunters lost in the local haunted asylum.  Mike talks about this episode’s connection to one of his holy grail Guilty Pleasure Movies while Andrew struggles with spellcheck, following the rules, and all the responsibilities of being this week’s host. Show us the way to go home.  Mike and Andrew take turns reminiscing about their childhood homes.  Andrew talks about the importance of equity and the dangers of ancient refrigerators and sinister cymbal-banging monkeys (nobody has ever requested one of these as a gift).  Then Mike shares his own ghost story of the night he saw “The Shadow Man”. Sam and Dean are back at their childhood home in Kansas which has now become the residence to a new family as well as some pretty pesky poltergeists.  These ghosts don’t like plumbers or hunters and the Winchester brothers rely on some house-cleaning help from this episode’s breakout star - Missouri Mosely!
