Episode 7- Gratitude

Thanksgiving is celebrated in the United States every fourth Thursday of November. It’s a time for the family to gather, enjoy a comforting delicious meal and share a moment to say what they are grateful for. The origin of this holiday has been a point of debate, as we know now that although a large feast took place between the first settlers and the Native Americans,  that peaceful exchange did not last long. Episode 5- Changes

In today's episode, we  discuss how the process of change influences us and affects our learning and evolution as human beings.  Change affects us because it takes us out of our comfort zone and moves us away from things we tend to be attached to. When something changes in our routine, the disruption may cause anguish for not knowing what the new will look like. Discussing this topic with our children is very important, especially when there is a big change ahead. That way, children understand the process and learn how to better deal with feelings that may arise.
