This week at Camp Point Assembly, we had the privilege of hosting one of the missionary families that we support serving in a closed country. Due to the sensitive nature of their ministry and the area they serve, we are unable to publicly share this week’s message. Instead, we are sharing a powerful sermon from March 5, 2023 titled “A God-Centered Faith Survives the Storm.” In this message, Pastor Dan walks through the incredible true story behind the hymn “It Is Well With My Soul” and the life of Horatio Spafford. Through unimaginable loss, tragedy, and trials, Spafford discovered the same truth Scripture teaches throughout the Bible: faith rooted in Christ can survive even the darkest storms.
