CEO of our Life
You cannot be liked by 100% of people. It's mathematically impossible. So why are you still trying? Recorded from the hot tub after a long day this is one of the most personal reflections I have shared. Being a people pleaser nearly cost me my energy, my boundaries, and my ability to lead. In this episode: - Why people-pleasing is a childhood survival mechanism you never grew out of - The 50/50 rule: you will never be liked by everyone, no matter what you do (not even Steve Jobs' ice cream test) - Why having a polarizing opinion actually attracts your real tribe - The daily core values exercise that stops people from crossing your boundaries - The difference between being disliked and being unkind you can hold the line and still lead with kindness This is not about being rude. It's about being free. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Muneeb Mushtaq is a serial founder, co-founder of Airzai (backed by Drake, validated by the University of Geneva), TEDx speaker, and featured on CNN, Forbes Middle East, Vogue, and Good Morning America.
