Slow Down, Folks

As parents, life gets loud — sports schedules, school events, video games, and the constant rush of “what’s next” can quietly crowd out the moments where discipleship naturally happens. This episode invites families to slow down and return to the simple, steady rhythm God calls us to in Deuteronomy 6:6–9: teaching our children diligently as we sit, walk, rest, and rise. From a counseling perspective, we’ll explore how busyness shapes a child’s emotional and spiritual world, and how small, intentional pauses can help us make God the true priority in our homes again.
