Morality and Medical Research: Issue-Use of animals in medical research for the benefit of mankind. Animals have been shown to have the emotional capacity of a child of 2-3 years old. And in some cases, there is approximately only a 2% difference in DNA between animals and humanity. So, is it moral to use animals in medical experiments? Something to ponder: If even twenty years ago, there were few alternatives for the advancement of pharmaceutically-based cures or ease of suffering, would YOU permit medical experiments on for example, cats and dogs?
