Episode 33- Ride For a Cause- Safety In Conversation with Trilok Kumar U and Sambhav Nahar of Association of Biking Community India (ABC)

In this episode of CLARITEA, host Jahnavi Gurjer is in conversation with Trilok Kumar U & Sambhav Nahar - President & Vice-president of Association Of Biking Community India. In this exhilarating episode, the biker duo shattered misconceptions associated with bikers by narrating their unique cultural and ethical practices in this high-risk sport.  We at Vital Signs Advisory are in pursuit of accelerating the adoption of safe riding practices amidst the 2.5+ Lakh ‘Last Mile Delivery Operators’ in Bengaluru and in this context the Association of Biking Community has volunteered to support our initiatives by Riding For a Cause. They have agreed to promote on-ground influence and awareness of safe riding practises through 1x1 interactions with the bikers who deliver everything to our doorstep from ‘a pin to an elephant’ right here in Bengaluru. This Sunday 21st April at 7 AM they are riding for a cause Nammane Summane for Nakshatra.

Episode 29-Common Sense Often Leads to Good Traffic Manners

With the absence of social condemnation and shaming for those individuals who break traffic rules, the penalties for disobedience and non-compliance trigger not only anger but also the erosion of common sense. In this episode, our host Jahnavi Gurjer is in conversation with the Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Bangalore City, Mr. M.N.Anucheth, IPS as he emphasises the unparalleled significance of adherence to safety rules above all behaviours. While many of us may think that laws need to be stricter and enforcement needs to be tighter, maybe there lies here an opportunity for each of us to reflect on why we as singular microcosms can’t behave better? Why is it that we feel limited in self-governance and why is it that we feel lighter by shifting the blame on the Bangalore City Traffic Police? Why do we feel that the cops need to facilitate our journeys in a safe manner even though we are the ones navigating our bikes, cars and automobiles?
