In 1995, 32-year-old Brenda Lee Starr vanished from Palm Harbor, Florida. She was last seen dropping off her 6-year-old daughter, Mariel, at school. When Starr didn’t pick up her daughter from daycare, police were called. They found Starr's apartment undisturbed - the TV was on a cartoon channel, her curling iron was still plugged in, and her purse and keys were still inside, but her car was missing. Starr was in the midst of a tumultuous divorce and custody battle with her husband, Scott Snouffer, and was set to testify against him in a car theft trial. Had she run away to avoid the stress of the trial, or had something more sinister happened?
