Descripción

This powerful message centers on the transformative power of spiritual determination, drawing from Acts 20:24 where Paul declares that none of these things move him from completing his race with joy. We're challenged to examine our own level of commitment to God's calling in our lives. The sermon explores how determination is born from desperation, which produces desire, which then produces our destiny. Through the story of Rizpah in 2 Samuel, who protected her sons' bodies for three months from vultures and beasts, we see a profound picture of persistent spiritual warfare. If she could fight that fiercely for her dead children, how much more should we contend for our living families, marriages, and God-given purposes?

Authorized by Adoption

Romans 8 is one of the most important chapters in all of Scripture for understanding the identity of every believer. In this message, we dig into what Paul means when he says you've received the Spirit of adoption — not the spirit of bondage, not the spirit of fear, but full legal placement into the family of God. This isn't sentimental language. In the Roman world, adoption was legally binding, irreversible, and transferred identity, inheritance, and authority. When God adopts you, you're not just forgiven — you're received. We'll walk through the contrast between the servant mindset and the son mindset, the return of the prodigal, and why your confidence before God is rooted in covenant identity, not personal performance. If you've spent years in church still feeling like you're earning your place with God, this message is for you.

DIG: Development in the Valley Produces Godly Growth

What do you do when obedience leads you into a valley? In this message, we look at Deuteronomy 11, 2 Kings 3, 1 Kings 20, and the pattern of valleys throughout Scripture. The Bible does not treat valleys as accidents, detours, or signs that God has abandoned His people. Instead, valleys are often the very places where God tests, forms, prepares, and fills His people. Israel was promised a land of hills and valleys. The valley was not outside of the promise — it was built into it. And in 2 Kings 3, when God’s people found themselves in a dry valley with no water, the instruction was not to escape. It was simple: dig. Faith prepares before it sees proof. Faith makes room before the rain comes. Faith trusts what God said even when the ground still looks dry. If you are walking through a low place, this message is a reminder: God is not only the God of the hills. He is the God of the valleys too.
