He should realize that all enjoyments, from this earthly realm up to Brahmaloka (the highest celestial realm), are devoid of true happiness, transient, and ultimately lead to sorrow. Hence, renunciation of all sensual pleasures is the supreme duty of those who seek liberation (mumukshu). Moreover, all actions performed with the egoistic sense of doership and desire for results yield only temporary fruits.
