We also offer a comparative perspective by examining how the SICC's model aligns with, and differs from, emerging German commercial courts.

We unpack its theoretical foundations, examine how the notion of autonomy has shifted over time, and question the basis on which it continues to claim legitimacy today.

(Stellenbosch), we discuss the concept of arbitrability, the different possible approaches to determine the applicable law and, of course, the famous Anupam Mittal v. Westbridge Ventures II Investment Holdings decision of the Singapore Court of Appeal.

The Emergency Arbitrator
