005 - Identity Reflects Performance

In this episode I talk about how your beliefs and identity reflect your performance . We commonly address habits or the process by identifying a players desired result or outcome. It's time to build the players identity through small daily victories in order to achieve the ultimate outcome. Identity based habits: 1. Identity- what you stand for/what you truly believe 2. Habits- what actions you take/practice 3. Outcome- your goal (Divison 1/professional etc.) Identity is far stronger and can withstand adversity, this will lead you/the player to continue with positive habits. Outcome habits are based on getting a result - when you get poor results you have nothing to keep you engaged in the process.

004 - The Importance of Grit

Episode 004 - I talk about the importance of GRIT and how it plays a role in your life as a golfer. In order to achieve your goals and greatest heights you need to understand how grit works. In golf, we all face adversity and therefore our grit is being tested. How you respond, practice, and react will lead you to your outcome. Embrace the chase rather than the outcome - players who trust and love the process tend to achieve their goals. This is a common trait that GRITTY people practice and demonstrate.
