DENMARK VESEY | The Revolution Will Not Be Centralized
In This Episode Denmark Vesey, Intellectual Insurgent and Anna Heegard welcome Stacy, a wife, a mother, an educator and a crusader for the Homeschool Movement, a phenomenon that exploded soon after the COVID lockdowns and mandatory injections. We cover the nature of the parental relationship. Intellectual Insurgent analogizes the role of the parent to that of God in the Garden of Eden story. We discuss the ever encroaching role of the state in family life and the history of the public education system in America. We celebrate the work of John Taylor Gatto where he compared the standard curriculum taught in American schools to the curriculum taught in the most elite private schools. Anna Heegard shares her experiences as a single mother and rejects the suggestion she should be celebrated on Father's Day because she was both a mother and a father to her daughter. Although we stress the critical necessity of men, fathers and family we acknowledge that some of the most incredible people come from less than perfect circumstances. However, we do establish the necessity of a Parenting Ideal, inspired by the family, that should guide all parents
