Finding Peace in Who You Are Designed to Be

As women it is so difficult to not get caught up in the labels and expectations that culture puts on us on a regular basis. The labels are endless and the pressure can feel overwhelming. How do we break free from the pressure of comparing ourselves constantly to others that seemingly have it all figured out? Breaking free from comparison is constantly a struggle because we are inundated with social media, family, peers, Hollywood and cultural pressures coming at us from all sides. Women should have it all and be it all. In this episode Austin shares her story of breaking free from the labels of what she felt she was “supposed to be” and “supposed to do” and allowing God to redirect her to what she was “designed to be” and “designed to do”. Austin shares the real part of feeling so overwhelmed with making the hard decisions to follow after what she felt compelled to do and what was best for her and her family versus what looked on paper to be the right thing to continue pursuing. Sometimes the right choices don’t always make sense when you’re making them. Austin will encourage you to be brave and to continue to listen to God over culture. She is now in that place of seeing how when you allow God to direct your path, you don’t have to live under the labels and comparison. Instead you can trust knowing you are in his will and when you find yourself there, you can be assured that he will always be there with you. Meet Cris Linnares! Former Atheist & Psychologist Who Was Changed by Faith!

Meet one of our amazing speakers who will be joining us at Mind, Body & Soul Conference this October! As a former atheist and psychologist, Cris had stayed exclusively in the lane of science. Miraculously, Cris was healed after encountering a power higher than any she had ever experienced before. There was no other explanation for what happened to her, other than that she had an encounter with Jesus - which was a word that she had ran as far away from as possible prior to this. Although Cris wanted to explain it away, she knew it was unexplainable! She had experienced the love and healing only Jesus could offer. Her life was forever changed.  Today Cris is still grateful for science and believes there is so much power in the mind. But now Cris incorporates the power of Jesus in her work of helping women experience health in their mind, body & soul.  Cris created an incredible therapy for women called Diva Dance which helps women break out of depression and feeling stuck by using the power of moving our bodies! Cris has been recognized by Glamour Magazine for her success in helping women. She is a two time best selling author and has also had the opportunity to do two TedX Talks. Unlocking Your God Sized Dreams

On today’s episode, we will be getting a little taste of what we can look forward to at our upcoming Mind Body & Soul Conference this October, 18 & 19. Our theme this year is “Perfectly Loved.” Polly shares the importance of dreaming from a place of being loved and how the first step in the journey of unlocking our God sized dreams is one that requires understanding how deeply loved we are by God. Our dreams become much bigger and more powerful when we dream from that place of knowing we are “Perfectly Loved.” When we feel loved unconditionally we automatically feel safe. When we feel safe that is when the limits are taken off. Many of us operate under the limits of trauma, past mistakes, comparison, and failure. Maybe a place of feeling stuck. Or, a place of feeling insecure and not even knowing how to dream. As we dive deeper we will learn more about unlocking the mystery of how deep God's love really is for you and me. Believing God wants to use us despite our shortcomings and failures. Learning God is the one that places those desires in your heart for something much bigger than you. That God wants to partner with us to help us reach our fullest potential. Becoming the masterpiece he designed us to be before we were even born. We are created for so much more.
