Descripción

When Laura Dunworth shared her journey from grief to healing, what struck me most was her introduction of a very accessible tool: emotional freedom technique, or EFT — aka, tapping. It’s a practice that, shockingly, combines acupressure points with modern psychology, and it’s proven surprisingly effective for processing deep emotions. Grief is energy trapped in our bodies. Laura explained how she turned to yoga, breath work, and mindfulness meditation after losing her brother. But tapping took it a step further — it’s a way to physically move grief out of your system, physically releasing emotional buildup. What I love is how simple it is: you tap on specific points while focusing on the emotion you want to release, like anxiety or heartache. Here’s a snippet of how she described doing it: “Even though I’m feeling anxiety, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.” Then, tapping on points around the head, eyes, nose, and chest, she explained, shifts energy and creates space for healing. It’s flexible, too: you can do one side of your face or both, depending on what feels right. Laura pointed out that this technique is already in use in veterans’ hospitals for PTSD and classrooms for children. It’s a rapid way to acknowledge and let go of stored stress. The more I hear about these tools, the more I realize how much our bodies hold onto. Moving that energy, even temporarily, can bring relief and clarity. Laura’s experience—and her encouragement—makes me want to incorporate tapping into my daily routines, especially when grief or anxiety hits hard.If you’re curious, Laura’s got deeper videos on YouTube for free, and I’ll be sharing those links too. Sometimes the simplest tools can have the biggest impact. Maybe it’s time to tap out some stress and make space for light. From Reactor to Creator: Reignite Your Inner Power with Ly Smith

There are moments in midlife when we realize we’ve been reacting to life more than creating it. In this week’s conversation, I sit down with Ly Smith (pronounced Lee), who shares her powerful journey from depression to renewed purpose — and the mindset shift that changed everything. Ly speaks candidly about the moment she recognized she had lost connection with her own identity, and how intentional self‑talk became the doorway back to joy. Her five‑step Candy Method (Clarity, Affirmation, Necessity, Discipline, You) offers a practical framework for moving from reactive patterns into creative ownership. In this episode, we explore: * How self‑talk shapes identity * The difference between reacting and consciously creating * Why women often lose connection to their own voice * Daily practices that gently rewire false narratives * A simple five‑minute reset you can begin today This is not a conversation about hustle or toxic positivity. It’s about remembering that you are not powerless in your own life. And sometimes the shift begins with one honest thought. A Quiet Invitation If this conversation resonates — if you’ve been feeling mentally stretched, pulled in multiple directions, or quietly stuck between staying and changing — I’ll be teaching a live masterclass on July 26 at 2PM PDT: “Top Expert Reveals Secrets to Reclaiming a Free Day Each Week” It’s designed for women who: * Feel mentally exhausted from carrying unresolved decisions * Are navigating transition or reinvention * Want clarity without pressure or overwhelm If you’d like to learn more or register, you can do so here: 👉 https://jcpwellness.com/millionairefest-regiteration-page-page-817626-9500 [https://jcpwellness.com/millionairefest-regiteration-page-page-817626-9500] This is thoughtful work. It deserves space. And as Ly reminds us — you already carry more creative power than you think. This is a public episode.
