Mall of Louisiana Shooting | Jeff Landry | Hug-A-Thug | Baton Rouge, LA Crime | DTG Podcast S2 E7

There was a mass shooting at the Mall of Louisiana on 4/23/26 that left one person dead and at least 5 others wounded. In S2 E7 of #DisrespectfullyTheGworlz we're discussing the shooting, the aftermath, and what could've been done to prevent such a tragedy. JeffLandry is the governor of Louisiana and commented on the shooting in press conferences where he blamed the violence on "hug-a-thug" policies that he's seen throughout the state in the last 10 years. We're diving into his comments and discussing what we think should be done. Should the state be focused on building more prisons to fill up with criminals, or should the state be investing those same funds into things that will prevent the crime from happening in the first place? Stay tuned to hear our raw, unscripted opinions regarding the entire situation.

WTF is Congress Doing | Anti-Trans Bills | Minors Charged As Adults in MS | DTG Podcast S2 E6

In this episode of Disrespectfully, The Gworlz, we're discussing the current political climate of the country. Just in case you're confused, we gave a basic civic lesson at the beginning to the set the foundation: What are the 3 branches of government and the responsibilities of each branch. After setting the foundation, we discuss the ridiculousness happening in the United States right now. If Congress is responsible for making laws and claims to be so worried about the actions of the president, then why have they not taken direct action? Instead of accountability being applied to those in the highest positions in the country, Congress is passing laws to strip away rights from vulnerable communities. Tune in to hear what The Gworlz think about it all.
