Episode 32: Dj Tuc & Kevin Norris- We Wanna Rock Set (Black History Month Tribute 2 Truskool Hip Hop)

The Red Velvet Cafe (RVC) team of two aka (Kevin Norris & Dj Tuc) were presented the opportunity to participate in the 2023 "Homage to Black Music Student Body Assembly" at the city of Anderson's renowned T.L. Hanna High School (famous names like Chadwick Boseman, Coach Harold Jones, James Robert RADIO Kennedy should come to mind) for this years Black History music celebration courtesy of teacher& producer  of the event Camille Richardson. So the popular RVC DJ & M.C. were tapped to host the Hip Hop roots & culture  portion of this prestigious event. The latter part of our set was captured live an instant Truskool hit with the student body & it went a lil sumthing like thissssss!!!!

Episode 31: Dj Tuc & Kevin Norris -Red Velvet Cafe Worldwide 2022 Edition

This edition of the RVC LIVE from th HAUS OF ART features  performances by the popular upcoming lyrical Anderson S.C. phenom JAISON WADE also ATL's very own seasoned Southern Soul crooner know as POKA JONES pops in the Red Velvet Cafe to remind everyone to count all their blessings. Turning it up to the max that night was the energetic poet & lyricist The BOSTON MASSACRE aka the DMX of poetry. Kevin & I wrap up this edition with elements from my birthday celebration Truskool RVC style of course with me dropping classics on the 1's & 2's. Enjoy folks until next time..Peace!

Episode 31: DJ T-Rock- Summer Party Mix in Da City (2022)

As the art of Truskool Deejaying begins to get resurrected for the craft & appreciation it deserves & the Trap Dj has begun to fade these days, just as quickly  as the new technology allowed it flourish. Dj T-Rock returns to turn up the heat just in time for the summer with a wide variety of classic hits new & old for the people who enjoy real skilled mixing & blends. This duel threat dj/artist steps back up on the 1's & 2's to eradicate any notions from haters & detractors that he's washed up. With almost 3 decades in the entertainment biz & still going, I'd say he's been tried and proven having withstood the test of time. From the vinyl analog era to the digital age he has earned his name & respect year after year. Enuff talk NOW enjoy the mix & see for yourself!!!!!

Episode 30: K-TRIK-E -Shawty So Sexy (Tuc's So Soulful Remix)

This one I decided to release in honor of my late great friend Michael Collier, who stage name was known throughout the upstate of S.C.  as the performing artist K-TRIK-E. Being a true consistent performer, always doing what he loved, working the audience & his craft every-time he grabbed a mic, either on stage or hyping the crowd, sometimes even when I was on the mix at a party. Shawty So Sexy was originally released as a commercial radio dance record back in early 2020 featuring a few guest artist. I remixed it for him, giving it a headnodding Truskool boom bap  & Soulful feel by diggin in the crates. It never was officially released by his record distribution company Sugo Music due to alot of political red tape. He liked  the mix  basically because I took his track it in a whole different direction & vibe.  Keep in mind I had done remixes for him before. Well previously unreleased here it is, YOU DECIDE!

Episode 29: RVC Show Live @ Haus Of Art Pt.2 8-20-21

This is part 2 the sequel of the magnificent Red Velvet Cafe show at Haus Of Art  on 8-20-21. Things really got turned up a notch as did the host Kevin Norris being the axis of the fun & mayhem.  Shout out to Cros Lux & Gino X from THE BLACK TABLE show whom had cameras rolling to capture all the action LIVE during this one. If you think part-one was a roller coaster ride then part-two will really take you to the max.
