In 2002 Pope John Paul the 2nd issued the encyclical ROSARIUM VIRGINIS MARIAE in which he proposed 5 new mysteries for the rosary which he called the “mysteries of light” or Luminous mysteries, these mysteries were quickly adopted by most catholics, but some traditionalists have argued that Catholics actually shouldn’t pray the rosary with these new mysteries, sticking instead to the older Joyful, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries. In this episode, we discuss an alleged revelation received by Joseph smith in 1832 and recorded in D&C 84:3-5 concerning the construction of a temple in western Missouri.
