Donuts in the Lounge: A Podcast for Educators
In this episode, I got to hang out with Megan who was one of the first teachers I talked to while researching for The K–12 Educator’s Guidebook. I really like Megan’s story because of her drive to refine her craft. That’s really inspiring to me. She even has a surprise plot twist in her career journey that we talk about. When I interviewed Megan for the book I wanted to know what resources teachers liked. Megan showed me a book, which would influence how I wrote the K–12 Educator’s Data Guidebook. Or rather, Megan’s relationship with the book influenced me. That’s because I saw how a book that was practical could fit into the tool kit of a highly motivated teacher like Megan. Listen on to find out what that book was plus a whole lot of practical data tips directly from a teacher in the field. * If you're reading The K-12 Educator's Data Guidebook [https://www.amazon.com/K-12-Educators-Data-Guidebook-Reimagining/dp/0367689480/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=the+k12+educator%27s+data+guide+book&qid=1636381811&qsid=141-2879735-7870965&sprefix=the+k%E2%80%9312%2Caps%2C304&sr=8-1&sres=0367689480%2C111952475X%2C1564842983%2C1440870357%2C1083044370%2C1119577039%2C1610691369%2C1610695437%2C1483371794%2C1591584469%2CB07T3DHTDJ%2C1591584981%2CB07VHZP5PR%2C1563088975%2C1610694910%2C0932577164&srpt=ABIS_BOOK], this episode goes great with chapter 4 “Time is the Problem” and chapter 10 “Practical is Personal” * Sign up for Ryan’s email list and get 20 percent off The K-12 Educator's Data Guidebook [https://ryanestrellado.com/] * Visit my website and get Data Resources and More for K–12 Educators [http://ryanestrellado.com/] * Music by Pglet on Blue Dot Sessions [https://app.sessions.blue/browse/track/92310]
