Members Reviews: Amazing Author I love Jeremy Narby; his research, and his writing are fantastic! Amazingly in-depth fresh perspective on the living creatures around us. For me it opened a perspective that I had before, but never quite knew how to process. Itâs good to know someone else is so interested in the same things. Check out âThe Cosmic Serpentâ by him as well. cdon A great book. Flows like a diary entry so it is very easy and is like being taken along on Narby's journey. What I liked about this book is his presentation of very different ideas that undermine those which our science and rationality are built on and opens up the possiblity of them not being to rational at all. Like, if other animals and even organisms have consciousness then there's so much more to learn and it can only be learnt outside of ourselves. A really great perspective and reveals an alternate way of being where more possibility may exist. An enjoyable read I enjoy Narby's discussions and observations. He is clearly searching for answers. This book is one for book club and it will surely spark discussion. He likes to tackle difficult questions and give a reader much to think about. He does skip around a bit, but he is never boring. I would recommend. Five Stars Not bad, makes you think. Intelligence in Nature Jeremy Narby presents an interesting perspective on "Mitakuye Oyasin" (lakota for "we are all related" plants, animals, humans, and the earth. Nature can teach us if we only learn to listen. Intelligence is much, much more than speaking; we have only to learn how to think about intelligence in a different way.

I am excited to get to part III Good Book for Study The book came recommended by a friend. My wife wanted it and loves it. It is well laid out, concise and the author comments scripture by scripture. My book is filled with post-it notes, my 4 year old daughter asked, "What did you do to that lovely book Mama?" Hoping to take it all in in bite size morsels... It's too rich to devour at one time. Four Stars Great advice within this book for beginners Five Stars wife loved it Five Stars great book! A-MA-ZING! It works. I don't know how to explained this. Story short, our house was previously 1 year ago apprised at 380. In order for us to get a loan we needed the house to come back at least...at least 400K. Everything was in place the loan pre-approved but nothing matter if the house value did't hit the mark. we dreaded the news for almost a MONTH! nothing happening, nothing moving. In desperation I applied for another personal loan not with the bank. I knew my chances of qualifying were slim. I did it anyway. I applied on a Wednesday. I performed the prosperity spell on the following Thursday. I am without words. the same day I received a call for my personal loan that they approved me...wow...later, HOURS later I received an email from the bank letting me know that the appraisal CAME BACK at 445,000!!!!!!!!!!!! what??? I though it was a mistake, so I called. Nope, the email was correct the appraisal came back at 445. OMG! ps.. I screw up on the spell so much, gosh I lighten the wrong candles exit thru the South instead of the West, I forgot the my wallet. BUT! my intention was so CLEAR that it did not made a difference. And for all that I have received I am truly grateful!!

Members Reviews: Fun Book and Informative Filled with interesting information Moon Magic is really, really, good! I bought Moon Spells, the first book, which I love, love, love. But this book has a different twist. It's has vision boards, tea leaf readings, and things that are fun associated with the Moon Phases. There are no spells in the book, so if you want more spells...not so much. However, instead, she has meditations, which I think is really cool. And she has recipes, which are so much fun. This is the beginner version, so she wrote the more complicated one first. But that's ok. Recipes for A Moontini and Full Moon Casserole, etc.are cute and I tried the casserole and it was wonderful. There are some historical things and very serious and logical information too. It is a good companion if you already have her other book. My favorite part is she recommends a visualization instead of doing an altar, but she tells you how to do both. It's just uplifting and some parts are funny, as she writes with a sense of humor. For the little money the book costs, I bought them for gifts. It is very non-denominational. I like it! That's me. You're average Moon Girl from the 90s. I would like to preface this review with a confession Disclaimer: I would like to preface this review with a confession. I do not practice Wicca. I am a solitary atheist witch. I work in alchemy and dabble in metal work. I use chants, herbs and metals to cast my spells and do a bit of image reading. I also receive no compensation for the reviews that I do. I am sent the books at no cost to me and I provide a review to share with you, and sometimes a freebie to use as a giveaway as well. This is a great book about the moon. I know this comes as a shock that I would use the word GREAT in describing a book. In fact I have only used that word for two other authors in my history of book reviews. This author really took some time in looking for a more deeper understanding of the different representations of the moon. While being sure to include the basics on waxing and waning this author also included references to the uncommon names and the familiar names we're used to seeing in reference to this celestial body.
