The 6 year old who I watch said he really liked reading the book. He said it was fun to read a story about a penguin and a snowman. He said he wants it to have 5 stars.

Harmony requires people to work together. An adorable book for preschoolers. I appreciated how the author melds music and individuality into a theme. Preschoolers can learn that everything in life has a sound if they only listen and that everything in life works together in beautiful harmony. The concept and the illustrations are brilliant. The brief story makes a person stop and think - although we are all different and unique, we each have a part to play in life. An Excellent Book That Should Be In All Elementary School And Home Libraries! My Special Sound is full of wonderful concepts that encourages every child who reads or listens to it to cherish their individuality and uniqueness while discovering the world around them. Liz Limâs colorful hand drawn pictures add to the bookâs charm while showing children that they, too can illustrate and be in their own stories. I really enjoyed this book and hope that Liz Lim will continue to write more books that both children and adults love!
