Duct Tape and Jesus
As Jesus concludes the Olivet Discourse, He tells a sobering story about a future judgment where the King separates the sheep from the goats. While our culture celebrates being the "GOAT" (Greatest Of All Time), Jesus reveals that not every goat ends up where they expect. In Matthew 25:31-46, we examine one of Jesus' most challenging teachings: the judgment of the nations and His famous statement, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me." In this episode, we discuss: * The context of the Sheep and the Goats within the Olivet Discourse * Who "the least of these" refers to * The relationship between faith and works * What genuine discipleship looks like in everyday life Jesus isn't teaching salvation by good deeds. Rather, He shows that a transformed heart produces transformed actions. The way we treat others reveals something deeper about our relationship with Him. Join us as we explore what it means to see Christ in those around us and why compassion, mercy, and service matter in the Kingdom of God.
