This Sunday, PC began a new three-part series titled The Waiting Room. He spoke about the nature of anxiety and how we should respond to it as believers. Experiencing anxiety is not wrong, and in many cases, it cannot be avoided. However, living in a constant state of anxiety and making decisions from that place can lead to an unfulfilled Christian life. So how should we respond instead? By trusting God and choosing His path, even when we have to fight through our anxiety to walk in it. STRENGTH FOR EVERY SEASON

This past Sunday, Pastor Monique Chambers challenged us to look inward and ask a hard question: do we trust God even when he doesn't seem to be moving when we feel we desperately need him? When things are at their worst so deeply that we feel God is paying no attention to us— this is the time where we mustn't lose hope. God may not come through for us exactly when we want them to but he's always on time. And even if we have to wait beyond what we think we can bear, our Father will be the source of our strength. TRUST THE DOVE

This Sunday, PC taught us what it means to let the Holy Spirit be the one you place your faith in, or, in other words, TRUST THE DOVE. Often times, we like to be satisfied by fleshly things rather than wait for God to tell us where to go. But our encouragement from this impactful word is to wait for the still, small voice of the Spirit who speaks the Word of God into our ears, showing us how to go in the best possible direction—the one God wants for us. IMPAIRED LIVING

This Sunday, PC spoke to us about impaired living. It's possible to be close to those who are highly capable but not be capable yourself. It's possible to be close to those who can see the truth of a situation but not be able to see the way they do. The secret isn't to be close to holy people, but to be close to a holy God. Then and only then will you be able to take matters into your own hands, when you trust the Lord to reveal your surroundings and yourself to you.
