We discussed the importance of balancing burnout and how we use our passions to carry us through. We have to remember why we serve and know that we are using our talents to glorify the kingdom. We work together as three teams to serve on purpose and goal. We also know that even though we are capable does not mean we are called.

Ep05: Biblical Teaching

Episode 5’s title is “Biblical Teaching” The host for this episode is Grace Matthews. The guest of this episode is Sylvia Swords. This episode consists of explaining our third of four core values. We explain why teaching from the Bible is important. We discuss how teaching has to be from the Bible and needs to be biblical to be worth something. Teaching is a gift and we should be honoring that by using his Word. Sylvia explains how Biblical Teaching has impacted her and explains how she uses her gifts of teaching and worship through ECC and her own life.

Ep04: God-Centered Worship

Episode 4’s title is “God-Centered Worship” The host for this episode is Grace Matthews. The guests of this episode are Joey Carlisle and Ben Smith. This episode consists of explaining our second of four core values. God-Centered Worship is important because if it is not God-Centered then it is not worship. Joey and Ben lead worship for ECC and both are passionate about music. They both discuss why worship is so important to ECC and the Lord. Worship is not just music and songs it is everything we do.

Ep03: Authentic Community

Episode 3’s title is “Authentic Community” The host for this episode is Grace Matthews. The guest of this episode is Addie Wiggins. This episode consists of explaining our first of four core values. We talk about why we believe community is so important. Addie is a Baptist Collegiate Ministry community group leader at Anderson University. The community should be authentic and be based on vulnerability. Addie discusses how a community is important and how it has played a vital role in her life and how she has seen it impact others.

Ep02: Why ECC?

Episode 2’s title is “Why ECC?” The host for this episode is Grace Matthews. The guests of this episode are Matthew McCall and Emma Rogers. This episode consists of explaining in detail why we chose Electric City Collective’s mission statement, and goals. We want to explain why we serve and explain the hearts behind our beliefs. We discuss why we love ministry and how we have been able to do that through this ministry.
