Descripción

Send me a note, love to hear from you. [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2439396/fan_mail/new] This meditation invites us to enter the body through the sense of touch. We begin by noticing the simple contact of the body sitting: the sit bones touching the chair, the feet touching the ground, the hands resting, the clothing touching the skin, and the air touching the face. As awareness deepens, touch becomes a doorway into vulnerability. We remember that touch is one of our earliest senses — the way we first experienced being held, nourished, and met. The meditation gently brings attention to the vulnerable baby within, the part of us that may have received loving touch, missed touch, or confusing touch. Through the practice, we return to two always-available sources of holding: Mother Earth beneath us and Mother Breath within us. The Earth touches and supports us from below; the breath touches us from the inside. In this way, the meditation becomes a healing practice of receiving support, softening into vulnerability, and allowing the body to feel held by life itself. Module 13: Episode 7 - Home

Send me a note, love to hear from you. [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2439396/fan_mail/new] Home This meditation begins with gentle awareness through movement, a way of listening to the body and awakening awareness. The practice invites slow, simple movements with focus on the sit bones while sitting at the edge of a chair. The sitting meditation explore home as a quality of being you can return to here, in the body, right now. The feet, sit bones, spine, breath, and heart become anchors for returning home to rest. Any sensation, tiredness, pain, emotion, or thought that arises is welcomed as part of the home and held with kindness. We return to the body as the place where awareness lands, the breath cleanses, the Earth supports, the body as a sacred sanctuary of awareness. The indwelling presence across traditions is known as Shekhinah in Hebrew ("the one who dwells within"), the Holy Spirit in Christianity, the Buddha nature in Buddhism, the Great Spirit in shamanic tradition — describing the body as a Mishkan, a temple, holding a "drop" of that greater spirit. The word holy, comes from wholeness; coming home is coming back into wholeness. We don't need to leave this body to be home. It's here, and now. Spiritual life begins where we are most ordinary: breathing, sensing, and resting in the embrace of Earth. Module 13: Episode 6 - You Are the Ocean

Send me a note, love to hear from you. [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2439396/fan_mail/new] Whether you are arriving excited, curious, or arriving simply because you need somewhere to land — the practice is always the same. Set your intention. Find the breath. Notice the wave. Return to the ocean of awareness. And begin again. That's the beauty of it. You can always begin again. You are not only the wave of thought, feeling, or emotion. You are also the oceanic awareness that can hold it. Nothing needs to be pushed away. Nothing is outside of life. The practice is to remember: the wave belongs, and the ocean remains. Rather than identifying with each wave of thought or feeling, you are invited to rest as the spacious awareness that holds it all.  The session closes with a gentle return to intention, a loving-kindness blessing for all beings, and an encouragement to carry this quality of kind, present attention into the rest of your day. Perfect for a morning sit, a midday reset, or any moment when the waves feel like too much. Spiritual life begins where we are most ordinary: breathing, sensing, and resting in the embrace of Earth. "We are not human doing. We are humankind. Kindness is in our name." Click here to support the show [https://oliveoasis.com/embodied-mindfulness-meditations-podcast/#Dana]. Module 13: Episode 4 - The Holy Moment: Waiting at the Mountain of Presence

Send me a note, love to hear from you. [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2439396/fan_mail/new] I am the one I am waiting for. What if every moment is a holy moment—not because something extraordinary happens, but because we are willing to stay present before the unknown? This meditation invites us to stand at the mountain of presence, waiting with patience, letting thoughts, feelings, stories, grief, doubt, and restlessness flow through us like water. Beneath it all, we discover the simple truth: love is the ground of our being. Again and again, life asks us to wait before what we cannot control. The invitation is not to escape into story, but to stay close to the river of sensation and the quiet light of the heart. May this practice remind us that wisdom is never separate from love, and that every holy moment begins with presence. Namaste. Module 13: Episode 3 - Life as a Feast; finding the jewel in every moment

Send me a note, love to hear from you. [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2439396/fan_mail/new] This meditation session begins in standing. Just standing — breathing, releasing, arriving. felling the ground beneath our feet. Always there. Always rising up to meet us. Then we sit and we are invited to meet our life as a feast, to see it — all of it — the grief, the joy, the not-knowing, the hoping, spread before us like a feast on the table. Because that's what it is. Your life. My life. All of it on the table. The disturbance. The sadness. The love that arrives wearing grief's face. Each one — a jewel. And what we recognize as beautiful in another? That's us. It was always us. So this week — feel the ground. Let the emotions move. Sit at your feast. And remember: A friend doesn't stand above you. A friend pulls up a chair and says — let's look at this together. From zero to one hundred — all of it is life. All of it belongs. Namaste.
