In those moments, we often have two choices: to close down or to stay open. In this episode, I reflect on what it means to meet unexpected change with honesty, compassion, and resilience—without bypassing grief or forcing positivity. This is a gentle conversation about choice, acceptance, and learning how to move forward when the path looks nothing like we imagined. This conversation is rooted in mindfulness, lived experience, and yogic philosophy, especially the practice of ahimsa (non-harming). I share reflections on how we can honor disappointment and grief without letting them define us, and how choosing openness doesn’t mean liking what happened—it means refusing to abandon ourselves in the process. This episode is for anyone navigating: * Chronic illness, injury, or unexpected change * Grief over a life that looks different than planned * Emotional fatigue from “holding it together” * A quiet longing for peace amid uncertainty You are not broken because life changed.  You are human—and you still get to choose how you meet this moment. Do You Want It, Need It, or Does It Align? Finding Life Balance Through the Infinity Symbol

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2441855/fan_mail/new] Balance isn't about doing everything equally — it's about noticing where you've drifted and finding your way back. In this episode, Stacie uses the infinity symbol (∞) as a visual framework for understanding life balance. On one side: stress, overwhelm, trauma, and pain. One the other: happiness, healing, and coping strategies. The figure-eight flow between them reveals exactly where we tend to get stuck — and how to move through it.  She also shares the 3 questions she asks before making any major decision: • Do I want it? • Do I need it? • Does it align? These aren't just decision-making tools — they're an invitation to return to yourself, again and again. Topics covered: life balance, the infinity symbol framework, stress and overwhelm, decision-making, trauma and healing, coping strategies, personal alignment, and intentional living. Living Ahimsa in Real Life: Self-Love, Compassion & Everyday Choices

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2441855/fan_mail/new] Ahimsa, often translated as non-violence, is more than a yogic concept—it’s a daily practice in how we treat ourselves and others.
