Descripción

Hello, my beautiful Eternals, I hope you are doing well this day/night. Today we look into the conversation of familiarity and what it does to us and its impact in our lives. For this new episode, we dive deep into the topic of how familiarity robs us from the place of intimacy - with God, with people, and even with situations. The gentle monster that is familiarity makes us think that we are well versed with situations, people and things! Most confuse it for discernment, yet it is not the case, because the lie is masked in ignorance and pride. Now then, what does the way forward look like from here? Join us in the conversation as we look at familiarity and intimacy in God.

COMMUNITY CAN BE BEAUTIFUL 🌻

Wawa is so back after an unexpected pause from recording, and she is doing well. More than that, she is grateful, grounded, and ready to get back into the conversation. This episode continues the community series that began earlier in the year, with the part that deserves just as much airtime as the mess, which is the beauty. Using the book of Exodus as a living blueprint and the early church in Acts as a real-world example, we explore what it looks like when people choose to do life together under God with genuine surrender, generosity, and grace. This is also a personal episode. Wawa opens up about some lessons she learnt about giving people access carelessly because they shared some spaces, and the cost of letting feelings lead instead of wisdom, and the hard but necessary lesson that you cannot make people into you and you cannot demand more from them than you are willing to give yourself. There is also a word here about influence, about what 1 Corinthians 15:33 actually means for the communities you are choosing to stay in, and about why the posture of meekness is not weakness but one of the most powerful things you can carry into a room. COMMUNITY CAN BE MESSY - EP 1 SZN 5

🤍New year. New conversations🤍 Episode 1 of 2026 on Eternity in a Moment is here: “Community Can Be Messy.” Let’s be honest, community is beautiful… but it’s also complicated. It’s laughter and late-night prayers. It’s support and misunderstandings. It’s feeling seen… and sometimes feeling stretched. In this episode, we talk about the real experiences we all face in community, the disappointments, the growth, the awkward moments, the grace. Because if we’re honest, walking with people isn’t always easy. From Exodus 17, we’re reminded that even when there was complaining, weariness, and battles — God was still present, still providing, still teaching His people how to depend on Him and each other. And in Romans 12:1–2, we’re called higher — not to blend into the culture of offense, ego, or self-preservation — but to be transformed. To respond differently. To look more like Christ. Community may be messy… But we’re still called to love well. To grow up. To renew our minds. To choose Christlikeness, even when it’s uncomfortable. If you’ve ever been hurt in church, misunderstood by friends, or stretched by people God placed in your life, this one’s for you. Press play. Let’s grow together.
