Descripción

Cousins, Molly is RATTLED at the start of this week’s episode after a sighting of the ghost of Jill’s landline past. This leads us into a discussion of the child-coded urge to hang up on strangers and when it’s okay (and/or necessary) to discipline other people’s children. Next, Jill has a big update about her quest to become a single mother (to a puppy) and spreads the gospel about her new TV obsession, Rivals.  Luckily for all of us cousins, Natalie has sent in a truly life-changing email with commentary and behind-the-scenes tea about the Real Housewives of Rhode Island, which leads Jill and Molly to discuss how to tell when something is financial abuse versus when you are just bad at budgeting. Chat, is it really bad for your spouse to use your money to pay your bills? Then, Jill and Molly question whether Seth Myers is in fact happily married, and mourn Amy Poehler’s historically poor taste in men (see: Will Arnett).  Of course, we then have to get into a JJL update, complete with some f*cking egregious messages Jill sort of asked for, and the surprising re-appearance and completely unsurprising re-disappearance of S.  We have the chance to give a brief update on more Katy Perry controversy, mourn a hurdle in Molly’s skin care journey, and debate the relative merits of an Oura ring before Molly’s phone decides it’s time for us to wrap it up. As always, please email us at mailto:eatcpod@gmail.com (Natalie, you’re our favourite listener this week!), rate us 5 stars, and tell your friends. Keep it cute cousins!

Episode 65 - Everybody and Their Cousin Is Tracking Their Cycle and Investigating Ghosts

Cousins, this week we’re covering the full spectrum of human experience: hormones, hauntings, reality television, and whatever is happening at a Katy Perry concert these days. We kick things off with a breakdown of the menstrual cycle and its various phases, proving once and for all that it is impossible to get a clear picture of what is going on with women's bodies. Molly then presents evidence that her school may or may not be experiencing paranormal activity. We also discuss some truly unhinged Katy Perry concert footage making the rounds online. Finally, Jill and Molly tackle their biggest logistical challenge yet: creating a game plan for watching both the U.S. and U.K. versions of Love Island simultaneously. As always, send us your emails at eatcpod@gmail.com, leave a five-star rating and review, and keep it cute, cousins!

Episode 63 - Everybody and Their Cousin Came Back to Talk About Lena Dunham Again

Cousins, did you miss us? After our controversial one-week break, we are back with important cultural discussions and insights into our future parenting philosophies. This week, Jill and Molly ask the hard-hitting generational question: is it more millennial or Gen Z to make an unsuccessful podcast? The cousins also break down just how much they’re loving The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, continue their seemingly endless Lena Dunham discourse, and officially begin collecting donations for Jill to get Crave and finally watch the rest of Girls. Plus, thoughts on the eternal mystery that is Mindy Kaling and B. J. Novak, and a surprisingly heated discussion about which beauty treatments we would and absolutely would NOT pay for for our future teen children. As always, send us your emails at eatcpod@gmail.com, leave a five-star rating and review, and keep it cute, cousins!

Episode 62 - Everybody and Their Cousin is Trying to Escape the Khia Asylum

Cousins, this week we’re welcoming our first returning guest, Mary! Jill and Mary deliver their official race report along with a full breakdown of the preceding shenanigans. After the race report, we're diving deep into internet content as Molly brings light to the viral nun content which has her questioning ALL her life choices. Then, in an educational segment no one asked for, Molly and Mary introduce Jill to the worlds of “Club Chalamet” and the Khia Asylum, expanding her digital literacy in ways that may or may not be helpful. Plus, the cousins return to a familiar topic: more thoughts on Lena Dunham, because apparently we are not done discussing her.
