Descripción

In this very first episode of Everything God: Unfiltered Faith, I’m laying the foundation—why this podcast exists, what it’s about, and the heart behind it. This isn’t about being polished or perfect. It’s about being real, honest, and unfiltered in our walk with God. I share a moment I had with a close friend during a car ride—just the two of us, opening up, sharing struggles, and experiencing the power of James 5:16 firsthand: "Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed." That conversation reminded me how healing flows through honesty and how God meets us in our vulnerability. And that’s exactly what this podcast is for—a space to speak freely about the real things, the hard things, the good things... everything God. You’ll hear truth, testimonies, Scripture, and eventually guest stories too. But today, it starts here—with an open heart and a simple “yes” to God.

Offended by Truth

In this episode of Everything God: Unfiltered Faith, I dive into a conversation our culture desperately needs: the difference between offense and harm—and why speaking the truth of God’s Word isn’t hate... it’s love. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” And that truth offended a lot of people. But it was still the only path to freedom. Today, we’re taught that making someone uncomfortable is unloving. But the Bible teaches the opposite: truth is what sets us free. If you’ve been afraid to speak the truth to someone you care about—or if you’ve been holding back because you didn’t want to “hurt feelings”—this one is for you. Truth may sting, but silence keeps people stuck.  Let’s stop confusing comfort with compassion.  Let’s speak truth, even when it costs us something.

episode Reality vs. Truth: Choosing What to Stand On artwork

Reality vs. Truth: Choosing What to Stand On

In this episode of Everything God: Unfiltered Faith, we unpack the difference between what’s real and what’s true. Our reality may look like an empty bank account, a broken relationship, a diagnosis, or a storm we never saw coming. But the absolute truth of God’s Word doesn’t change based on our circumstances. I talk about why I believe the Bible is the final authority—the unshakable truth that overrides what we feel, see, or fear. Reality might be screaming one thing, but truth declares: You are more than a conqueror. You can do all things through Christ. God is with you in the fire. Healing is available. Provision is coming. Hope is not lost. When we focus on God’s absolute truth, our reality begins to shift. This episode is about learning to stand on the Word, not just survive the world.

episode Jesus Sat with Sinners... Would We? artwork

Jesus Sat with Sinners... Would We?

In this episode of Everything God: Unfiltered Faith, we’re diving into Mark 2:14–17 and the powerful moment when Jesus calls Levi—the tax collector—and then chooses to sit and eat with “sinners.” I share what this passage stirred in me: how Jesus didn’t keep His distance from broken people… He ate with them, He called them, and He made space for them. It made me think—if the modern-day Church saw someone like John the Baptist walk in… wild, unpolished, uncomfortable… would we embrace him? Or ask him to leave? This episode is a challenge and a reflection. Are we more like Jesus… or more like the Pharisees? Do we still believe the table is for the sick, the messy, and the unwanted? Or have we unintentionally closed the doors while claiming we’re open? It’s not about judgment—it’s about healing. And if Jesus came for the sick, that means there's always a seat for those willing to follow.
