Her murder being one that most likely would have been solved had she not been living in a town full of corruption and secrets was one that created lasting legend and legacy. Her murder eventually became local folklore that would would be told to Mark Frost so often that he would later regale David Lynch with the tale inspiring the pair to create the show Twin Peaks!
