Descripción

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to feel close to God, inspired, motivated, and excited when you're at a conference, retreat, church event, race weekend, or surrounded by people who are pushing you forward? But then you come home. The event ends. The excitement fades. The routine returns. And suddenly you're left wondering how to carry everything you experienced back into everyday life. In this episode, I'm sharing some thoughts I've been processing after returning home from Summer Smash and why I think so many of us spend our lives chasing mountaintop moments instead of allowing God to transform us in the ordinary days. Because the truth is, the event isn't what changes your life. What you do when you get home does. We're talking about motivation, discipline, emotional highs, spiritual growth, and why God isn't just present in the exciting moments—He's present in the quiet, ordinary ones too. If you've ever come back from a trip, conference, retreat, church camp, race, or major life experience feeling inspired but unsure how to carry it forward, this conversation is for you. In this episode, we talk about: • why we become addicted to motivation and inspiration • the difference between emotional highs and real transformation • why growth happens after the event ends • how to steward what God teaches you in mountaintop moments • finding God in ordinary, everyday life Sometimes we're so busy looking for the next breakthrough that we forget to live out the last one. Maybe the next season of growth isn't found at another event. Maybe it's found in what you do when you get home. If this episode encouraged you, share it with someone who needs it. And if you're working on your faith, your mindset, and becoming the woman God created you to be, make sure you're following The Becoming Her Podcast. Hey You — Are You Following God, or Expecting Him to Follow You?

Hey you… are you truly following God, or are you asking Him to follow the life you already planned out for yourself? A lot of us say we trust God, but deep down we still expect Him to bless our timeline, our plans, and our version of how life is supposed to go. Then when things don’t work out the way we wanted, we become frustrated, disappointed, confused, or even angry at God. But what if the problem isn’t that God failed you? What if He’s simply not following a plan He never created in the first place? In this episode, I’m talking about surrender, control, disappointment, and the uncomfortable reality that following God sometimes means letting go of the version of life we thought we wanted. Because real faith isn’t asking God to walk behind your plans. It’s trusting Him enough to follow wherever He leads. If you’ve been frustrated with where life is going lately, maybe this is your reminder that God sees a bigger picture than you do. And maybe where He’s leading you is better than where you were trying to go on your own. If this episode spoke to you, send it to someone who needs it. And if you’re working on your faith, your mindset, and becoming the woman God created you to be, make sure you’re following The Becoming Her Podcast. episode Hey You — Why Do We Trust Planes More Than God? artwork

Hey You — Why Do We Trust Planes More Than God?

Hey you… isn’t it crazy how easily we trust a plane to take us somewhere we’ve never been, but we struggle to trust God with our lives? We’ll book flights, pack our bags, and confidently travel to places we’ve never seen before without fully understanding how we’re getting there. But the moment God starts leading us into unfamiliar territory, we panic, overthink, doubt ourselves, and start questioning everything. In this episode, I’m talking about trust, fear, uncertainty, and why so many of us are tempted to give up the moment life feels unclear or uncomfortable. Just because you can’t see the full picture doesn’t mean God isn’t leading you somewhere beautiful. If you’ve been feeling discouraged, exhausted, or unsure about where your life is headed, I hope this episode reminds you that faith was never about having all the answers — it was about trusting God enough to keep going anyway. You don’t need the full map. You just need to trust the One guiding you. If this episode spoke to you, send it to someone who needs it. episode Hey You — I Don’t Have All the Answers Either artwork

Hey You — I Don’t Have All the Answers Either

Hey you… maybe you don’t need all the answers right now. In this episode, I’m talking about the tension between what we don’t know and what we do know when we’re walking through uncertain seasons. I don’t know exactly where God is leading me. I don’t know what every part of my future looks like. I don’t know why some things happen the way they do. But I do know God is good. I do know He’s faithful. And I do know that even when life feels uncertain, He’s still leading the way. Sometimes faith isn’t having all the answers — sometimes it’s choosing to trust God anyway. If you’ve been feeling anxious about the future, confused about your direction, or frustrated that you can’t see the full picture yet, I hope this episode reminds you that you don’t have to know everything to keep moving forward. You just have to trust the One who does. If this episode spoke to you, send it to someone who needs it. You’re Not Lazy — You’re Stuck in Survival Mode

If you’ve been feeling mentally exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, unmotivated, distracted, or disconnected from yourself lately, this episode is for you. So many people think they’re lazy when in reality, they’ve been stuck in survival mode for so long that their mind, body, and spirit don’t even know how to slow down anymore. In this episode, we’re talking about emotional exhaustion, doom scrolling, overstimulation, burnout, spiritual disconnection, and the pressure so many people feel to keep functioning while silently struggling. We’ll also talk about why isolation makes healing harder, the importance of having support, and why growth often requires honest conversations, boundaries, rest, and learning how to reconnect with yourself and with God again. Because sometimes you don’t need more pressure. Sometimes you need healing. In this episode, we talk about: • what survival mode actually looks like • why so many people feel emotionally exhausted • how overstimulation and constant distraction affect your mindset • the spiritual side of burnout and emotional numbness • why support, coaching, and community matter during hard seasons If this episode spoke to you, send it to someone who needs it.
