Marcelo Burlon: From Club Kid to Global Fashion Disruptor

Marcelo Burlon isn’t supposed to exist. He grew up in Patagonia, landed in Milan with a working‑class family, started as a teenage club dancer and somehow became one of the key figures turning underground nightlife into a global fashion movement. He’s the founder of County of Milan, a label born directly out of dance floors, streetwear and music that ended up on artists all over the world. Marcelo never came up through the “proper” fashion system; he disrupted it. From doing PR at Magazzini Generali and throwing legendary parties, to connecting Virgil Abloh with Italian manufacturers and helping spark Off‑White and Palm Angels, he’s been quietly building a whole ecosystem of friends, brands and scenes.
