Flying out of the cage.

It is Yellow Warrior 1 in the Dreamspell calendar. The Warrior is about discipline and self-direction. Inner leadership. But it can also feel trapped in limitations, feeling incapable to move forward. Where are you feeling trapped or limited in your life? Where are you holding back? The Warrior asks us these questions, because, only you can free yourself from the prison of your own mind. The Tzolkin teaches us in this wave that sometimes we need to let go of the old, to release what’s holding us back. We may need to reflect in order to gain a fresh perspective. And then we need to be willing to move with the winds of change. This is an invitation to be innovative and look at how we can turn challenges or limitations into opportunity. How we can cultivate our medicine from our own struggle. That’s what the warrior teaches us today. And the birds. Birds are so magical. Birds are awesome. Just like birds, when we spread our wings, we can fly. And it doesn’t mean we can fly into to the sky, but we can fly through life. A teacher of mine once said; if you are feeling like you are caged. If you are feeling like a bird in a cage, like you’re trapped in circumstances. There is one person and one person only who can truly free you from that. And that is you. "Only you can free yourself from the prison of your own mind." That’s what the birds teach us today. I needed that reminder today and maybe you did too. This is a public episode. Friendly dog. Calming Wind. Listen and Speak.

A new wave began yesterday in the dreamspell calendar with Dog 1. A friend might show up. We get a reminder to be kind, to forgive. A great time for a gratitude exercise. We are heading towards White Wind. So let's breathe. Let's get calmer. Make conscious choices. Let others speak while you wait patiently. Then move forward from inner Guidance. Follow your inner voice. Take action and communicate about what matters to you. What do you need and what is actually someone else's?

“If you're willing to go after your dreams and let go of the stories of others, you can find abundance.” A look back at the energies of the second half of August, The Yellow Seed wave spell. The themes continue to play into September. But we're looking back a little late, apologies for this. However it allows us to reflect, already knowing what has happened, a beautiful way to apply the astrology. The beautiful thing about the calendar is that it teaches us fundamental life lessons. And all of these waves are playing in different ways in our lives all the time. In the people around us, the relationships we have with them, the country we live in, or the business you work in. And every 9 months the same wave comes back. Today is Red Moon 13 which is about remembering. So let's remember what was going on in your life the second two weeks the last two weeks of August. I was carefully watching the birds in my garden. They were eating many berries and I found that pretty difficult. So I got to learn about what's really important to me. About setting boundaries as well as deciding where to let them go. We were invited to think about what really matters to us, what is really our thing and what are things that we're holding on to that we really don't need. That is not really ours. Early September has continued to work up on this theme. Both in the Mayan astrology as well as in Greek astrology with the eclipses. Where do we need more boundaries and where do we need less? And where can we understand ourselves better so that we know what matters and what doesn't. What we want to work for and what we want to release. The more we understand what is important to us the more we can focus on that. If everybody does that then there is abundance. If everybody takes what they need and no more than that. There is enough of that which is really yours, if you're willing to align with that. If you're willing to go after your dreams and let go of the stories of others. This is how we can find abundance.
