S3 E1 Modern Masculinity: Responsibility and Growth

Let’s talk honestly. Many men today are carrying silent pressure—stress, confusion, loneliness, and uncertainty about their place in the world. For a long time, men were taught to stay strong, deal with everything alone, and not talk about what they feel. But ignoring emotions doesn’t make them disappear. The good news is that conversations about men’s mental health and masculinity are finally happening. But awareness alone is not enough—growth and communication are what truly matter. Masculinity today isn’t about dominance. It’s about responsibility, emotional maturity, self-mastery, and the willingness to keep learning. Blaming others may feel easy, but real change starts when we take responsibility for our own growth.   Talking openly, asking for help when needed, and learning how to communicate better is real strength. Men and women both have things to learn from each other, and growth happens through dialogue—not isolation.   If you’d like to share your thoughts or comments, feel free to contact me at delcantoromero@gmail.com [delcantoromero@gmail.com].
