Forever Fit With Chelsea Muncy
Today I’m talking about resilience. Not the kind that looks strong on the outside. The kind that gets built in valleys. I share pieces of my story I don’t talk about lightly. Watching my mom go through a domestic violent relationship when I was young. Her leaving when I was in eighth grade because of mental health and drug struggles. And the deepest valley of my life, losing my baby at ten days old. Those seasons could have hardened me. There were moments I wanted to shut down. To stop feeling. To protect myself by building walls. But I’ve learned something powerful. Resilience isn’t becoming cold. It isn’t pretending you’re fine. It isn’t pushing grief down. Resilience is staying soft. It’s allowing yourself to grieve. It’s choosing faith in the valley. We are always going to walk through valleys. That is part of life. But our faith is what keeps us rooted when the ground feels unstable. You can be strong and tender at the same time. If you’re in a valley right now, this one is for you.
