Putting yourself out there is always a scary thing. Putting yourself out there when you have kids and you're half of all of the income stream in your house is even harder. While many of us have done it, few have come out of a bad risk situation even stronger and better than they planned. Today, we have the pleasure of learning from Clover and Bloom [https://cloverandbloomphotography.com/] founder, Merri Haren. Merri came to us in a bad situation that was out of her control. She got tangled in a mess caused by an insecure photographer who failed to adhere to industry standards and pulled the wool over her eyes. Merri's attempt to branch out to the California market from Ohio by second shooting ended up costing her out of pocket, and a pro-longed legal battle that did nothing but sully the images as a result of the tainted experience.
