Full circle moment: we’re closing out the season with a margarita in hand—mango this time, because it’s finally the season for it! We wanted to leave you with something real before we go: the importance of self-care. We get into what it looks like for us, how we actually practice it, why we think it matters, and what we hope you take away from this little corner of the internet. Think of this one as our short and sweet parting gift. We’ll be back. But first, we’re taking our own advice. Thanks for sticking with us for a whole season! Mango Margarita: * 3 parts tequila (most recipes call for Silver, but we still go for a gold reposado) * 2 parts cointreau * 2 parts mango puree (from frozen mango juice, fresh mango juice, or mango nectar – note mango nectar will be slightly more sweet) * 2.5 parts lime juice * 1 part simple syrup (or agave syrup) *you might skip this depending on how sweet your mango is Some like to add a bit of chili powder or spice to the rim but we keep it simple with a classic salt rim.
