In this episode of Empowering Tomorrows European Leaders, we invited Bohdanna Duma, Chief Coordinator of the Women's Union of Lviv Region ("Спілка жінок Львівщини") and head of the youth department "Youth Ukrainian Changes". The Women's Union of Lviv Region serves as the authorized representative in Lviv for the largest women's organization in Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Civil Organization "Women's Union of Ukraine". With 24 authorized representatives across all regions and over 15,000 official members.
#3 - Audrey Frith, Eurodesk
In our third episode, we had the pleasure of hosting Audrey Frith, the director of Eurodesk, on our podcast. Established in 1990, Eurodesk has grown to become a prominent organization, operating in 37 countries and collaborating with over 3,000 partners. With an impressive reach, Eurodesk annually provides valuable information about youth exchange, international internships and more to around 2,000,000 young individuals across Europe and beyond.
#2 - Dr. Heike Dörrenbächer and Pawel Prokop, German War Graves Commission
In this episode of Empowering Tomorrows European Leaders, we invited Dr. Heike Dörrenbächer, head of the department for “remembrance culture and education” and Pawel Prokop, head of the department "international youth encounters" of the German War Graves Commission ("Volksbund deutscher Kriegsgräberfürsorge"). The War Graves Commission looks after more than 830 war gravesites in 46 countries with about 2.8 million war dead. It operates as the only war graves service in the world and extracurricular youth work as well as its own youth exchange and education centers.
