Members Reviews: Classic fairytale with a musical twist - amazing cast and narration! I absolutely LOVED this reimagining of the Rumpelstiltskin story in a musical format! Jim Dale's narration is, as always, incredible. What makes it even better, though, is the fantastic cast that plays Rump, the King, Jane, and all the other characters in this updated fairytale. There's so much to love about this audiobook! WOW Blown away by the songs and performances! Jim Dale always delivers and the rest of the cast exceeded all my expectations. My kids and I enjoyed every minute. Great fun! I love it! Very fun to listen too. My son really liked it too! Characters are great, and such awesome talent. Well done bravo !!!!! I truly enjoyed every minute of it. From chapter one I was transported and felt as if I was in a front row seat on broadway. Love the hole thing. All I can say is well done congrats.

This book was WAY better than I thought it would be, and I always find it MAGICAL when an author narrates his own audiobook. AND the narration was adjusted to BE an audiobook. I CANNOT WAIT to read the rest. I just can't get over how good this book was, it was perfect. Thank you Mr. Harris, this was wonderful. Loved it! The sound effects are awesome and the last trick is my favorite. I am so excited for the next 3 books. Wo Awesome, I love magic so this was a cool book to read glad I found it Great Narration We listened to this book as a family on a trip. The narration was fun, but the story was not very believable. I like how he explained some magic tricks. Practice, practice, practice!! The magic we've read before... While entertaining, this book is definitely a formulaic hodge-podge of a few other young adult/children's books. The writing evokes a watered down, less clever, version of Series of Unfortunate Events. It's almost as if NPH came up with this book while filming Count Olaf for Netflix. The twists and turns were very predictable, especially at the end. Characters were a little flat and could have used more fleshing out... hopefully something that will be more explored in the next book of the series. The narration was pretty outstanding, except in a few places where NPH's sarcastic tone seemed a bit too forced.

A different take on magic apart from the wizarding world of Harry Potter we're all accustomed to. The trials however, are nothing like Hunger Games. Light and entertaining. Would recommend. if you like Harry Potter... It's like the author took the outline for HP and renamed the characters. Not a bad story, but it was so hard to get past the similarities. Loved it! If you liked Harry Potter, this is a must-read. The only disappointment is that the sequel doesn't come out till Oct. 2018. AMAZING. I LOVED this book. Even though this book just came out, I got it as soon as I could. I read it every single day. I can't wait for the next book to come out. Although, I heard that it took Jessica Townsend 10 years to complete Nevermoor: The trials of Morrigan Crow, so I'm not betting on her next book coming out any time soon. I would definitely recommend this book, it was filled with so many twists and, the characters and settings were so detailed. In case you were wondering (which you probably weren't) why my title has a period at the end, it is because that is all I have to say about this book. It was AMAZING. As magically as Harry Potter -* We loved this book. Can't wait for the sequel. Morgan is the female hero that young girls need in fiction.
