Thriving in live's storms
Life's difficulties can come in many forms. Perhaps you're facing a health crisis, financial instability, a broken relationship, or the loss of a loved one or any other life challenges. These trials can shake us to our very core, testing the very foundations of our faith and a lot of questions keep popping in our head. Is God alive? Does He answer prayers? and so on, but it's precisely in these moments that our faith has the potential to grow stronger and deeper. I'll be sharing with you 7 things to do when going through such times
The Righteous Shall Flourish
Today, we'll be exploring a wonderful promise from God's Word which is - the righteous shall flourish. The original intent of God is for all righteous believers to flourish. You may ask, so why am I not flourishing? The answer is here - Our theme verse comes from Psalm 92:12-14 which says: "The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing."
Have you prayed today?
Yet, if we're honest with ourselves, it's all too easy for prayer to get pushed aside amidst the busyness of our lives. We get caught up in the demands of work, family responsibilities, and countless other tasks even church activities and before we know it, the day has slipped by without us taking the time to connect with our Heavenly Father. But friends, prayer is not just a nice-to-have kind of thing - it's a vital part of our relationship with God. When we pray, we acknowledge our complete dependence on Him. We cast our cares and burdens at His feet, and we open our hearts to receive His wisdom, strength, and peace.
