A new exhibition, sponsored by Intesa Sanpaolo, explores Gentileschi’s life and work for the first time in the UK. Artemisia at the National Gallery fulfils the underlying objective of Intesa Sanpaolo’s ‘Progetto Cultura’ – to promote Italy’s artistic heritage beyond its national borders, in Europe and the rest of the world.
